PRIVACY POLICY

Kettlebel ("the App") is a kettlebell training application developed by Saad Zniber ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

Health & Fitness Data

With your explicit permission, the App reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:

• Workout history (type, duration, calories burned)
• Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
• Resting heart rate
• Sleep analysis data
• VO2 Max

This data is used solely to compute your readiness score, personalize workout intensity, and track recovery. We do not write data to HealthKit.

Workout Data

The App stores your training sessions, exercise performance, RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) ratings, personal records, and equipment inventory locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

External Activity Data

With HealthKit access enabled, the App may import non-kettlebell workouts (e.g., soccer, running, cycling) to estimate their impact on muscle recovery. This data is stored locally on your device.

2. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that stores your personal data.

• Training data is persisted using Apple's SwiftData framework on-device.
• Health data accessed via HealthKit remains within Apple's secure HealthKit container and is never extracted or transmitted.
• If iCloud sync is enabled on your device, your training data may sync via Apple's iCloud infrastructure under Apple's privacy policies. We do not control or access this data in transit or at rest.

3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not transmit any data to third-party services.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to anyone.
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling purposes.

4. HEALTHKIT DATA USAGE

In compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines:

• HealthKit data is used exclusively to provide core app functionality (readiness scoring, workout personalization, recovery tracking).
• HealthKit data is never stored in iCloud or any external service by the App.
• HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
• HealthKit data access is optional and the App functions without it.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, these are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

• Access & Deletion: All your data is stored on your device. You can delete all App data by deleting the App from your device.
• HealthKit Permissions: You can revoke HealthKit access at any time via Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Kettlebel.
• Export: You can manage your health data through Apple's Health app.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
